5th Annual Focus on Melanoma Conference

This year's 5th Annual Focus on Melanoma conference was a full day symposium designed to addressthe personal and medical issues facing those at risk for melanoma, survivors of melanoma, their loved ones, and caregivers. This year's conference was intended to help those at risk and survivors of melanoma become active participants in their care through both the treatment and the emotional journey.
Our experts, who are experts in the field of dermatology, surgical oncology and medical oncoloy, for melanoma discussed the critical issues for those who are: at risk, newly diagnosed, finishing treatment, and long term survivors, as well as those with advanced melanoma. Critical information about prevention, genetics, risk assessment, early detection, current and future treatment choices, coping skills, as well as providing hope to face the challenges that lay ahead will be provided. Our experts discussed the latest information on melanoma basic and translational research with an emphasis on promising clinical trials.
