Out of 199 hospitals in areas of Eastern PA/Southern NJ and DE, 15 hospitals earned highest average scores and HUP ranked as one of the top 15 hospitals in every category. In a side-bar article "Great Teams, Great Care," Vicoria Rick, PhD, RN, FAAN, chief nurse executive and associate executive director of HUP is quoted. "It's an honor for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania to be ranked one of the highest in the region... a direct reflection of practice excellence delivered by our world class nursing staff."
