Ben Z. Stanger, MD, PhD, assistant professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and assistant investigator for the Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute,
was selected as a 2009 Pew Scholar in the Biomedical Sciences. The
award is given to early-career scientists displaying outstanding
promise in research relevant to the advancement of human health. As a
