Robotic surgery for prostate cancer may improve functional outcome

NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - New research suggests that robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy (RALP) provides comparable oncologic control as retropubic radical prostatectomy but is associated with better functional outcomes.
