University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine receives Susan G. Komen For The Cure Promise Grant to help find cure for breast cancer

Local researchers will try to discover the best methods for predicting what types of breast cancer may affect different patients and treatments best tailored for them, thanks to funding from Susan G. Komen for the Cure.® 

Komen is funding a $6.6 million Promise Grant at Thomas Jefferson University to study an aggressive form of breast cancer and four other studies at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
