Gear Up Day for the Ride to Conquer Cancer

May 7, 2014

Linda A. Jacobs, PhD, director of the Living Well After Cancer Program at the Abramson Cancer Center, and Damon Klines–whose father died of synovial sarcoma in January--were featured in a live segment this morning on Fox29 to talk about their involvement with the Ride to Conquer Cancer. Damon will be participating in the two-day, 150-mile Ride, and Jacobs will be volunteering in the medical and food tents. “We’re very excited about this event, it’s an opportunity to…raise money that supports clinical programs, such as the survivorship program, as well as educational programs and research,” Jacobs said.
