We are pleased to report that at the upcoming American Society of Hematology (ASH) Meeting, members of the School of Medicine including the Abramson Cancer Center, Hematology-Oncology Division, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia will take part in an impressive 132 presentations.. These include 45 oral presentations and 55 poster presentations. Additionally, Penn faculty have been invited to participate in 22 educational/scientific symposia, and will moderate many sessions. Penn investigators were part of two plenary presentations and Mortimer Poncz, MD, a professor of Pediatrics and chief of the division of Hematology at CHOP, with be the discussant of a plenary paper. We are proud of the diversity and quality of the clinical research conducted at Penn represented by these presentations.
