Penn Radiation Oncology Helps Doylestown Hospital Cancer Services Expand

The Philadephia Business Journal covered the expansion of Doylestown Hospital's cancer institute, which now includes a Penn Medicine radiation oncology facility run by Penn physicians. "We are pleased to build on our established relationship with Doylestown Hospital to expand access to the full spectrum of Penn Medicine radiation oncology services, including clinical trials for cancers of all kinds," said Stephen M. Hahn, MD, chairman of the department of Radiation Oncology. Though most patients seen at the facility will be able to receive cancer treatments in their own community, those treated at the radiation oncology facility will have access to Penn-run clinical trials and, if appropriate, proton therapy at the Roberts Proton Therapy Center.
