The Ruth and Raymond Perelman Center: Outpatient & Inpatient Imaging In Balance

An article highlighting the combined inpatient and outpatient imaging at Penn's Ruth and Raymond Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine is featured in the October issue of Health Imaging & IT Magazine. The article states that since the Center opened, Penn "has realized multiple results including faster imaging exams, improved patient and report turn-around and patient-friendly scheduling." Workflow and patient care improved for both referring physicians and staff and patient satisfaction swelled. "The center allows us to completely separate and provide unique imaging resources for our outpatients, while we provide services that are better designed for our inpatients," said Nick Bryan, MD, PhD, professor and chair of the Department of Radiology.
