Thanks to all the members of the Penn Medicine/Team CHOP for their participation and success in completing the 2010 LIVESTRONG Challenge. The Abramson Cancer Center and The Cancer Center at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia have been consistent proud supporters of the LIVESTRONG Challenge for the past three years and look forward to future Challenges.

Due to the team's efforts and our phenomenal team captain's, SueAnne Clark's, hard work we raised $35,144.37. Additionally, we surpassed our team goal of 100 members!

In total, there were just over 6,500 riders, runners, walkers, and volunteers participating in the Challenge. Through the generosity of 36,000 donors, Philadelphia raised $3.1 million toward the fight against cancer. This generous donation will continue to help cancer survivors live life on their own terms and build and support our programs and initiatives that shape the cancer landscape.

Pictures from the event can be found at KreutzPhotography.com. These are usually posted 2-3 weeks after each event. Chip timing results from the 5K and 10K on Saturday, August 21st can be found here.
