Expert Panel Calls for Aggressive Fight Against Cancer in Poorer Countries

A panel of prominent figures in global health called on Monday for an end to the assumption that cancer is a “disease of the rich” and for both poor and donor countries to place the same emphasis on fighting it that they now do on infectious diseases like AIDS and malaria.
