The depth and breadth of the clinical research conducted at Penn and CHOP will shine as over 59 presentations are made by faculty at this year's American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting, being held in Chicago, June 4-8, 2010.
10 oral presentations, 32 poster presentations and 17 poster discussion sessions will be presented by members of Penn Medicine faculty and Abramson Cancer Center experts at the convention known as the premier event within the clinical oncology community.
In addition to presentations, other members of the Penn Medicine faculty will be on-hand during the meeting to serve as expert discussants, session moderators and to lead educational sessions.
Additionally, Eli Glatstein, MD, vice-chairman of the department of Radiation-Oncology will receive the Distinguished Achievement Award from the Society during the 2010 meeting.
