The New York Daily reports that Mark Herzlich, Boston College All-American linebacker is cancer-free and returning to the field after a year-long battle with Ewing's sarcoma, a rare form of cancer that attacks the bone and soft tissue and formed a malignant tumor in his left leg. Herzlich, who is from Wayne, PA, underwent months of radiation and chemotherapy treatments at Pennsylvania Hospital. He was treated by orthopaedic oncologist Richard Lackman, MD, and Arthur Staddon, MD, who conducted the chemotherapy treatments. Read More
