The University of Pennsylvania to give free health seminar at The Colony in Palm Beach, Florida

The University of Pennsylvania is slated to present its sixth annual health seminar Feb. 16 and 17 at The Colony, 155 Hammon Ave.

Two programs will include presentations from Penn Medicine's leaders in cancer, neurological care, pain medicine, proton therapy, behavioral health and more. Attendees can participate in a question- and-answer session with each physician.

Among the presenters will be Dr. Craig Thompson, director of the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania. Thompson has been selected to lead a research "Dream Team" for Stand Up to Cancer, the partnership between the nation's entertainment industry and the cancer research community.

Registration will be at 8:30 a.m. each day. Both programs, "Healthy Brainpower" on Tuesday and "Advances at the Abramson Cancer Center" on Wednesday, will be followed by a light lunch.
