Through personal philanthropy and fundraising events, this committed group will support innovative cancer research that furthers our understanding of cancer and leads to the development of prevention, detection, and therapeutic advances. More specifically, Young Friends will support the work of young investigators and clinical fellows, whose brilliant ideas often go unrealized because of a lack in funding. This support is vital to launching the careers of tomorrow's medical leaders who will ensure that our mission to eradicate cancer will be accomplished. Each year, members will hear from young investigators and leadership of the Abramson Cancer Center and learn more about their research and patient care programs to enhance their knowledge of cancer care and prevention.
