The Penn Cancer Network is a select group of community hospitals throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware collaborating with the Abramson Cancer Center to provide excellence in patient care throughout our region. Penn's Cancer Network hospitals are recognized for their excellence in patient care and a commitment to improving the health and well-being of their community.
The Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania is the cornerstone of the Cancer Network, offering subspecialty care not usually available at most community hospitals, as well as the vast research and technological resources of one of the nation's foremost cancer centers. The Cancer Network offers an integrated system of care between the community hospital and Penn. This means patients receiving care at their local Cancer Network hospital have access to the latest treatments, including Penn's extensive clinical trials program. When they need to come to Penn, our specialists remain in close contact with the patient's local physicians. This close relationship between Penn physicians and those at the Network hospitals assures you of optimal care.
