Throughout Chestnut Hill Hospital you will find the expertise and quality care you expect from a larger teaching hospital in the comfort and convenience of a suburban community-hospital setting. We offer access to advanced technology, a continuum of health services and a highly skilled, caring staff, which includes some of the area's finest doctors and nurses.
Chestnut Hill Hospital offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical, and diagnostic services. The Hospital, founded in 1904, is a community teaching hospital known for its excellent physicians and for the skill and compassion of its nursing and support staff.
Comprehensive cancer services include medical imaging, pathology, diagnostics, surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation oncology. ACR-accredited and FDA-approved computer-aided detection (CAD) digital mammography services are available in the Hospital's Women's Center with locations in Chestnut Hill and Blue Bell.
Chestnut Hill treats the "whole" patient and offers support groups and counseling to assist patients and their families with the life changes that inevitably accompany cancer diagnoses. Cancer support groups, including prostate cancer, breast cancer recovery and the American Cancer Society's "I Can Cope," provide ongoing support for people with cancer and their families. Health education programs and free screenings for the detection of cancer are offered throughout the year. Hospice services are also available.
