Research Expertise
My laboratory has two areas of research focus. We study the growth regulatory proteins that are required for AML cells to survive. We have recently focused on the mTOR signaling protein in studies that have been developed into ongoing clinical trials at the Cancer Center. The laboratory is also interested in the effect of the BCR/ABL oncogene on DNA damage and repair.
