Radiation Oncology

Our radiation oncologists are recognized for techniques that target radiation precisely to the tumor site while sparing normal tissue. Penn radiation oncologists are using the latest techniques available including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and partial breast irradiation (implanted radioactive material).

Radiology

Penn breast radiologists specialize in the study of radiology to identify breast problems. They are board certified, subspecialty or fellowship trained in imaging. Our breast radiologists have made major contributions to advances in breast cancer imaging. Penn’s Breast Imaging Division, is accredited by the American College of Radiology and provides screening and problem-solving mammography, as well as, the full array of imaging.
